In one 10 mile stretch, we saw these concrete bus stops, but not in any other areas. Super heavy-duty reinforced concrete.

Maybe in recognition of how dangerous it is to wait for a bus along this highway. But if it really IS that dangerous and there is such a good chance of vehicles hitting the bus stop, then I’d rather wait somewhere else, say, 15 feet back.
