Our History

Hands of Hope
(which is Manos de
Esperanza, in Spanish)
started out
in 1998
operating a mobile
medical clinic to the rural poor in Guatemala.
We
converted a small school bus into a fully-equipped doctor's
office so we could take medical care where it's needed the
most.

About Us
We're a small non-profit
organization founded ( and originally funded) by the Anita
and Gregory Giagnocavo Family. We (Anita, Gregory, Michael,
Daniel, Alan and Rachel) moved to Guatemala in 1998.

Our
Goals
We want to help the rural poor of Guatemala improve their
lives. For us, that means, providing medical care and
medicine to those who are sick and do not have access to
health care.
