You can save a family from the cold this holiday season, for only $4

Our goal this year is 1,000 blankets."

Update

The 2006-07 Blanket Project was a huge success! Our goal was 1,000 blankets - we received enough donations for 1,200 blankets.
We greatly thank all of you for your donations and helping the people of San Rafael, Santa Maria and San Jose de Yalu.
As were handing out the blankets at the clinic, we treated all the elderly and widows to a special traditional drink called 'Ponché'. Ponché is like a hot cider that is made from a variety of fruits & cinnamon. The people were so touched with the gifts of blankets and ponché, they sang for all the staff to show their gratitude!
It was truly wonderful blessing that the project went well... the mountains got drastically cold (see cold weather report). While we still had some babies with pneumonia, we can only imagine how many more their could have been if not for the blankets.

  Thank you!
